As times change we try to keep up with ways to connect with
you, so here goes something new. Keep that in mind, this is my first attempt at blogging. This week we are talking about how to be a
Super Friend, or how to be a good friend so you have friends. Valuable information for all ages, even
adults. Yesterday we made a "Circle
of Friends" display. We care about ourselves,
and our friends so we want to be safe and keep friends safe. We are kind to respect ourselves and friends. We will keep reminding ourselves of this all
year long.
We also have used things that we find in fall such as
leaves, acorns, and pumpkins in some of our activities this week. We have sorted the leaves by color, as well
as added some letters and tree shapes to sort the leaves onto the appropriate
lettered tree. We used little pumpkin
pictures with letters for a simple upper case letter match game. We also used
pumpkin pictures and seeds to read the number and count the seeds on the
pumpkin. Then I can't forget the Ten
Frame Leaves that we used with acorns. (The Moffatt Girls)
Hope you enjoyed a little bit of what we did this week. These activities were enjoyed by the VPK
class, as well as some by the three-year olds. Thanks for reading. Please give feedback about what you liked
about the blog, and what you would like to see on another blog.
